Dr. Nikola Maraš specialized through extensive studies and continual work, in the areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery. After obtaining medical degree and finishing specialized studies in Serbia, he has spent many years abroad, improving his skills and deepening the knowledge, but also getting familiarized with the latest trends and practices in domain of surgery. At the famous Canniesburn hospital in Glasgow, Nikola has had a chance to narrow his field of interest and to specialize in the areas by which this hospital remains highly reputed - plastic and maxillofacial surgery, but also surgery of hand and micro-surgery. He had practices in hospital St.Andrew - London and Frenchay hospital - Bristol. After learning from the great experts in the field, Dr. Maraš introduced these methods into his work, contributing to popularization of the new approach in plastic and reconstructive surgery in his home country.
Along with the long-term studies, Dr. Maraš has gained significant experience by working extensively in the field. As a head of Surgical department Clinical Center - Kragujevac, he focused on several disciplines - hand reconstruction, congenital malformations, micro-surgical reconstruction and aesthetic surgery. Decided to dedicate fully to plastic surgery, Nikola has worked for several years in the largest private hospital in Greece - Hygeia. After being completely satisfied with the knowledge and skills he has gained, Nikola founded Aesthetic and plastic surgery center Maraš in his hometown. To the end of his life, the Center has been providing the highest-quality treatment to the patients and the perfection of services have been proven by the satisfaction of many.
